The most crucial aspect: The app is available for Android and iPhone devices, and users can log in with their Instagram accounts. After logging in to Threads, users can quickly ensure that their feed is not empty by choosing to follow everyone on Threads whom they already follow on Instagram with just a single tap. Because of this method, due to GDPR, Meta has decided to temporarily exclude Europe from accessing the platform, which means a significant portion of potential users in Europe did not even have the opportunity to register.

Positive mentions skyrocketed by an astonishing 3108.72%, while negative mentions experienced a substantial increase of 1121.51%. This significant shift contributed to a tremendous rise in the Brand Health Index, elevating it from 0.56 to 0.77. Overall, the online sentiment surrounding Threads is overwhelmingly positive.  

Instagrammers are the biggest cheerleaders

Regarding platforms where Threads is making waves, Instagram emerges as the frontrunner.

The dominance of neutral and positive sentiments showcases the platform’s appeal and positive reception among users. Interestingly, women (75%) lead the way in the Threads conversation on Instagram. This highlights the platform’s appeal and resonance among the female demographic.
